Ralph Dodsworth was mayor of York in 1792.
 
 
Thomas Lumley Dodsworth was born on the 28th October 1808, he was christened at St Lawrence York on the 13th November 1808. His parents were George and Ann.

I can only find 2 of them on the census, George and Benjamin.
 
1851 Thomas is living at Wheldrake, single and owns 245 acres, he employs 6 labourers
1871 Thomas is 62 still a bachelor and is listed as a landowner and farmer of 100 acres employing 5 men
1881 Thomas is living at the Cottage Wheldrake with his nephew Leonard.
 
 
 George Dodsworth
In 1851 he is living at Gate Fulford with his wife Ann and is a Proprietor of land and anniutant, by 1871 he is now living at Clifton Grove and is a director of the North Eastern railway, George and his wife have 4 servants.
 
 
  Benjamin Dodsworth
He is a GP and in 1851 is living at Clifton with his wife Clare and his daughters Clare Mary 1845, Lucy 1849 and Margaret A 1851 and one son Francis 1843. They employed 6 servants.
By 1861 Benjamin had moved to Minster Yard with his wife Clare and his daughters Clare Mary, Margaret/Rose Ann and Amelia 1853 and his 2 sond Ernest Ralph 1859 and Leonard 1857 and employing 6 servants
In 1871 Benjamin had moved to Burton Lane, Clifton with his family and employed only 4 servants.
 
Francis S Dodsworth was serving as amidshipman in the Royal Navy on board the Renown.
Ernest Ralph went on to be a solicitor, in 1881 he married Mary Ann Lowe and they had 1 son and 5 daughters.
